BM2’s President Lands Spot on WIT’s Top Women to Watch List

COVINGTON, Ky – One of BM2 Freight’s very own landed on the Women in Trucking’s 2023 Top Women to Watch list this past week.

President and logistics-industry extraordinaire, Sarah Newman, was announced as one of the industry leaders featured on the list.

“Knowing that I have an opportunity to influence or impact other women in our industry is a responsibility and an honor that I take very seriously,” she says.

Being in the industry for over 20 years is a huge milestone in and of itself for the Covington-based 3PL President.

“Being a woman in this industry isn’t easy, I have had to work harder to learn, to be seen, and prove myself as an asset,” says Newman.

For women in a heavily male-dominated field like logistics, recognition can often be overlooked.

“It has been inspiring to be a part of a team that is always striving to be great both within the industry and for our employees, a team that listens and values the voices of all our employees, and a team that recognizes and rewards those that are dedicated to our vision,” says Newman.

At BM2 Freight, we prioritize having a workplace where all voices are heard, and all sides are represented. Our teams are created with different viewpoints and thought processes in mind to continue building a strong company.

“The experience and opportunities that I have gained working for BM2 Freight has been the most humbling and rewarding over any other company that I have worked for,” she adds.

An organization like Women in Trucking honoring a person like Sarah is a huge accomplishment! The organization strives to promote females in the logistics industry coming together to represent all facets of their organizations and shine a light on their successes.
